Good Morning, OHMS. Today is Tuesday, October 4 and it’s a Day 1.
Mrs. Burrows will be having IA today for students that want to work on their campaigns for student council
Tomorrow is in school banking day, don’t forget your deposit.
September might be over, but we are still celebrating and recognizing attendance! This week, the homeroom in each grade level with the best attendance for the month of September will get a snack and celebration in class. Congratulations to our 8th graders in Ms. Hathaway’s homeroom, our 7th graders in Ms. Bricco’s homeroom, our 6th graders in Mr. Jackson and Ms. Castracane’s homerooms (a tie!), and - the homeroom with the BEST attendance in the entire school for the month of September was in 5th grade - Mrs. Bove. Today at lunch, Mrs. Ta will be available to take you outside to celebrate as well.
GNN Club Announcement
Are you interested in writing, producing, editing and directing video productions? Then this club is for you! The GNN or Good News Network Club (video production club) meets Mondays during IA. If you are interested in learning more about GNN please sign up on the library website. If you have any questions see Ms. Feeney in the library.
Battle of the Books
This is the last week to sign up for Battle of the Books! If you’re interested please, sign up on the library website today. The Battle of the Books will begin at the end of October.
BINGO for all 5th and 6th graders is next Wednesday at 6pm. All are welcome, A $5 suggested donation.
Winter sports signups for 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball and 7th and 8th grade boys basketball is now available in Family ID via the Westhill website.
