Welcome to Westhill Central School District; the home of the Wolf Pack! Westhill is committed to creating a collaborative learning environment where all members feel included, respected and valued.
Please read ALL of the directions before proceeding to the Online Pre-Registration link.
In-Person Registration is by appointment only. Please contact Central Registration: registrar@westhillschools.org or 315-426-3440.
You must be a resident within the District to register.
Under New York State Education Law 3202(1), a school district is required to admit, “only district residents who are over 5 and under 21 years of age.” Residency means domicile, which requires one’s physical presence and the intention to remain there permanently. A student’s legal school district residence is presumed to be that of their parents or legal guardian. To determine residency, the district will need to review all facts specific to the residency in question.
Online Pre-Registration:
We offer an Online Pre-Registration that allows our families to register their Kindergarten through 12th grade children.
Once you complete your Online Pre-registration; the Registrar will contact you to provide some additional information that will be needed to register your child(ren). An appointment time will be scheduled for you to return additional paperwork and required documents and finalize your registration in our office.
NON-School Age Children:
Central Registration is offering families the opportunity to register their non-school age children (under the age of 5) when registering their school age children. With this information the District can inform families of information relevant to their non-school age child(ren).

Private or Parochial School Enrollment:
For families with student(s) attending private or parochial schools, New York State requires each school district to account for all school-age children. Therefore, parents/guardians are required to register their children with the school district in which they reside (their home district). This meets state reporting requirements and informs the transportation department in the child's home district to be aware of potential busing needs. Families may begin with the Online Pre-Registration form and then click on the Non-Public School Enrollment Only to complete your registration.
Homeschooling your child(ren):
In accordance with New York State law, the district requests that families who wish to homeschool their child(ren) submit the registration form for homeschool. Please complete the Online Pre-Registration form and then the Home School by Parent CENSUS form.
Address Change
For address changes within the district, please complete a Change of Address Form and submit it to the Central Registrar with the Primary and Secondary Proofs of Residency.
