The New York State Learning Standards are student learning expectations of what students should learn and be able to do at each grade level and within each content area. Please click on the links in the table to read the corresponding New York State Learning Standards.

Curriculum is a guide, or course of study, for educators of what to teach. Curriculum includes: standards, learning objectives, units, lessons, assignments, projects, assessments, and more. A program is a vehicle to deliver the curriculum. For example, K-6 teachers use the EL program to teach the K-6 English language arts curriculum.
