According the the NYS Education Department: students should read a minimum of 25 books or the equivalent, per year, across all content areas and all standards. To meet this goal, students should be reading 20-30 minutes each night.
Parents - PLEASE check your child's planner regularly to see that he/she is writing down the homework. Also, check your child's take home folder for flyers from school and graded papers. Thank you!
