Welcome First Graders!

If you are a first grader you will come to the library once a week and you will be able to take out one book for one week. Your library classes are one hour long.
In the beginning of the school year you learn how to check out your library book and how to care for the library books that you take home. It is important that you return your book each week because you cannot take another book until you return the one you have checked out! If you decide to keep your book a little longer, simply tell us that you want to “renew” it for another week.
You will also learn how to use the eMac computers. This includes practicing “logging on” to the computers and getting to know the parts of the eMacs. Soon you will be learning about many fun software programs and web sites.
Be sure to keep checking this site throughout the year to see all the fun things that we will be doing.
