Mrs. LaFex (5th & 7th counselor), Mrs. Lewis (guidance secretary)& Mrs. Pisegna (6th & 8th counselor)

Serving as Counseling Center Secretary... Mrs. Patricia Lewis is in her 21st2nd year with the Westhill School District. Prior to joining the staff at the Middle School nine years ago, she was the Secretary in the Westhill Special Education Office. Mrs. Lewis also was Guidance Secretary at the Jordan-Elbridge Jr. Sr. High School for five years. Subsequent to that experience, she worked as a secretary at IBM in Burlington, Vermont for five years. She lives with her husband, Richard, in Baldwinsville. She has one son, Jason, who resides with his wife, and their two children, a daughter and a son, in Virginia.

Serving students in grades 6 and 78... Mrs. Jennifer Pisegna is in her 19th year with Westhill Schools. She spent her first few years as a counselor at Cherry Road School and has been at OHMS for the past 14 years. Mrs. Pisegna earned a B.A. in Psychology from Cortland State and M.S. and C.A.S. degrees in Counselor Education from Syracuse University. Serving students in grades 5 and 7... Mrs. Susan LaFex has served 23 years as a teacher in kindergarten, first and fifth grades. She began her career in Port Byron but has been with Westhill Schools since 1986. This is her 10th year as a School Counselor at OHMS. Mrs. LaFex earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from SUNY Cortland, an M.S. in Elementary Education with a Reading Concentration from SUNY Cortland and M.S. and C.A.S. degrees in Counselor Education from Syracuse University. Mrs. LaFex lives in the Westhill School District. She is married, and she has three daughters all educated at Westhill. One daughter is a 7th grade English teacher, and the other two are students at Manhattan College and Siena College, respectively. 426-3408 slafex@westhillschools.org
