There are a wide variety of summer programs and opportunities available to students.  For additional information, please visit the websites listed or stop by the Counseling Center.

LOCAL SUMMER PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES
  • Hiawatha Seaway Council "Summer Career Camp".  Syracuse, NY.  Engineering Camp, July 19 - 23rd.  Law Enforcement Camp, July 26 - 30th.  Biology Camp August 2 - 6th.  Available for students 14 - 18.  Students gain valuable insight while working side by side with professionals in our community.  Lockheed Martin, Welch Allyn, SUNY ESF, C&S Companies, Syracuse Research, Onondaga County 911 Center, NYS Police, City of Syracuse Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Secret Service, Onondaga County Department of Water Environment Protection, Tully Hill, Crouse Hospital, Montezuma Refuge and the Department of Environmental Conservation all eagerly await you arrival.  Camp cost:  $175 each.  Applications available in the Counseling Center.
  • LeMoyne College.  "Summer Reading Skills Program".  Syracuse, NY  Programs for entering 9th - 11th graders.  Study Skills and Speed Reading.  Programs for entering 12th graders.  Lifelong Love of Reading.  Call 1-800-978-9596 for information or to register.
  • Syracuse University.  "Summer College for HS Students.  Syracuse, NY.  6 week credit bearing programs include Architecture, Engineering & Computer Science, Fashion Design, Forensic Science, Law & Public Communications.  2 and 3 week courses (non-credit bearing) include: Acting & Musical Theatre, Design, Interior Design, Education, Small Business Development, Studio Art.  Web design is also available with 3 credit hours awarded.  July 6th - August 13th  www.summercollege.syr.edu
