This program is designed to provide the youngest members of our community with an early literacy experience and encourage the enjoyment of reading. Children from birth to age four, accompanied by their parents, participate in story times, finger-plays, dance movements and craft activities for an evening of fun. At the end of the story time, a snack is provided and each child gets to select one free book to take home and treasure.
We have had a wonderful turnout at each of our events, and all the participants have a fun time.
All programs take place at Walberta Park School from 6 to 7 pm. Dates for this spring are Monday, February 2nd and Monday, April 27th.
